Earthquake in Ontario Should Remind BC Resident to Prepare

A moderate 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit southern Ontario and western Quebec early Wednesday afternoon, sending people fleeing out of buildings.
There were no early reports of major damage. The epicentre of the quake was 61 kilometres north of Ottawa, though there are reports it was felt as far away as Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Syracuse and Cleveland.  read more »
