Ingrid Vaughan

As Manager of Human Resources and Communication, Ingrid is responsible for overseeing and implementing Global’s human resource strategies, and overseeing the company’s marketing and communications. Ingrid works closely with the management team in the delivery of HR and communications programs and processes. She enjoys a somewhat unique role as she works from her home in Victoria, on Vancouver Island, travelling to Vancouver from time to time to connect with the team.
Ingrid’s experiences as a Director of HR and as a personal and business coach have contributed to her innovative approach to working with people, as well as growing her leadership skills. She has published a book titled “I’m a Circle, You’re a Square – the Art of Understanding Others and Improving Communication” and has worked as a corporate trainer, travelling throughout Canada and the US delivering professional and personal development seminars. She also brings to the team her skills as a writer and graphic designer. Ingrid is committed to building positive relationships with the staff and management team in order to deliver a strong human resource component to Global’s strategic plan, making Global a company people seek out for employment opportunities. She also looks forward to building the Global brand through strong communications and marketing activities and growing its presence in the lower mainland and in the industry.
Prior to joining the Global team, Ingrid’s experience includes working as a Career Transition Facilitator and Business Coach with the Reger Group, the General Manager of the WestShore Chamber of Commerce, the Director of Communications and Human Resources for Vista Radio, and running her own communications and training company – Brio Communications.
