
Since 1998, Dr. Dodd has practiced emergency medicine at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. During that time he served as Chief of Emergency Medicine as well as Director of Trauma Services and Critical Care Transport.
His interest in disaster management began during the evacuation of a BC hospital from wildfire in 1998 and he is currently finishing the Masters in Disaster and Emergency Management program at Royal Roads University in Victoria. For the past three years he has served as the medical consultant for pandemic planning with the Interior Health Authority’s Infectious Hazards (pandemic) Task Force.
As the Associate Medical Director for Global Consulting, Dr. Dodd is called upon to provide medical oversight on the full range of emergency preparedness services that Global Consulting offers.
