Vision

By 2012, Global Consulting hopes to be the recognized name when it comes to emergency response and preparedness in the Canadian marketplace.  More specifically, when any organization – regardless of sector or industry – has a concern related to natural or manmade disasters, and/or medical health, we want to be the first to receive the call for help!

What it will take

  • The scope of this goal is not lost on us; it is aggressive and ambitious by design. To reach it, we recognize a need to:
  • Be true to ourselves, and be guided by our corporate values in all that we do.
  • Continue building our brand by clearly describing our service offerings, defining our branding strategy, and encouraging our employees to tell our story to everyone who will listen.
  • Design, build, and execute a marketing strategy for each branch of Global’s service offerings.
  • Keep our staff up-to-date on topics directly relevant to our service offerings.
  • Continue to utilize best practices in change management in such a way that our clients understand and can rally behind our efforts on their behalf.
  • Continue to build our team by selectively growing our employee base, aligning ourselves with key strategic partners, and expanding our pool of high quality contractors.

Why it is viable

  1. The need for services from each of Global’s branches is predicted to remain healthy for the foreseeable future: 
    • With an ageing Canadian population, and an overburdened healthcare system, the need for medical systems solutions to enhance the quality of care offered to Canadians is acute.
    • In a business world that is becoming progressively more competitive, continuity planning will adopt an even more prominent role as business disruptions could mean the difference keeping a business afloat or closing its doors.
    • The threat of manmade disasters remains very real, and Canadians will continue to need help in preparing for, and responding to attacks
  2. We hold a position of uniqueness:
    • In the face of such a need, there are numerous companies in the marketplace that specialize in preparing for natural/manmade disasters and medical consulting of one form or another, but none other than Global acts as a central provider of all of these services. By recognizing the common threads connecting these different service categories, we have developed multiple streams of expertise.
