ULTIMA Medical Services and TELUS Sourcing Solutions Inc. (TSSI) have turned to the pandemic planning experts at Global Consulting to assist with development of a corporate antiviral program for their client Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS).

HHS is a family of six unique hospitals and a cancer centre, serving more than 2.3 million residents of Hamilton and Central South and Central West Ontario. In order to deliver the best care possible, HHS depends on its 12,000 clinical and non-medical professional staff. As such HHS is looking at the issues associated with a corporate antiviral program as an additional way to protect their employees from the Pandemic H1N1 2009 virus.

Global Consulting’s President Dr. Allan Holmes teamed up with TSSI and Ultima to identify and work through key elements required for a corporate antiviral program, including securing, dispensing and distributing antiviral medication.
