City of Port Moody

The City of Port Moody contracted Global Consulting to develop a Tsunami Awareness Plan for potential tsunami events occurring within city limits. The plan was designed to enhance community safety through awareness and to introduce primary response measures to city staff and response personnel. In addition to providing an overview of methods to monitor and track tsunami events in the region, the plan also outlined the relative tsunami risk to the community as a whole and provided planning recommendations for the city.
